The 2025-26 UEFA Champions League lineup is complete with 36 teams, following the conclusion of the Play-Off Tournament. Seven teams secured their spots through the playoffs, joining the 29 direct qualifiers.
The playoff qualifiers are: Benfica, Copenhagen, Club Brugge, Qarabag, Bodo/Glimt, Kairat, and Pafos.
They join the 29 directly qualified teams, which include major clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona, Arsenal, Bayer Leverkusen, Atletico Madrid, Atalanta, Villarreal, Juventus, Eintracht Frankfurt, Tottenham Hotspur, PSV Eindhoven, Ajax Amsterdam, Napoli, Sporting CP, Olympiakos, Slavia Prague, Olympique de Marseille, Monaco, Galatasaray, Union SG, Athletic Bilbao, and Newcastle United.
The draw for the league phase is scheduled for the night of August 28. For the draw, the 36 teams will be divided into four seeding pots, each containing nine teams.
Pot 1 includes: Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona.
Pot 2 includes: Arsenal, Bayer Leverkusen, Atletico Madrid, Benfica, Atalanta, Villarreal, Juventus, Eintracht Frankfurt, Club Brugge.
Pot 3 includes: Tottenham Hotspur, PSV Eindhoven, Ajax Amsterdam, Napoli, Sporting CP, Olympiakos, Slavia Prague, Bodo/Glimt, Olympique de Marseille.
Pot 4 includes: FC Copenhagen, Monaco, Galatasaray, Union SG, Qarabag, Athletic Bilbao, Newcastle United, Pafos, Kairat.
The first league phase matches are set to begin on September 15. The 2025-26 UEFA Champions League final will be held on the night of May 29, 2026, at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest, Hungary.
