Paris Saint-Germain Sets Club Revenue Record at $976 Million Following Historic Champions League Victory

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has shattered its club revenue record, projecting an astounding 837 million euros (equivalent to $976.11 million) for the 2024-2025 season. This unprecedented sum marks the highest revenue ever achieved by the club, surpassing the previous season’s figures by a significant $36 million. This financial milestone comes on the heels of the French giants’ historic triumph in the UEFA Champions League for the very first time last year, a victory that has clearly had a substantial positive impact on their commercial ventures.

With this projected income of $976.11 million, PSG solidifies its position as the third-largest football club globally in terms of revenue for the upcoming 2024-25 season. The Parisian powerhouse now stands just beneath Manchester City, which occupies the second spot, and Real Madrid, currently the highest-grossing club in the world with revenues exceeding $1 billion. In comparison, for the 2023-24 season, PSG’s reported earnings were 806 million euros ($938.59 million).

PSG, the reigning French Ligue 1 champions, generates this impressive revenue through a diverse portfolio of income streams. A substantial portion comes from various advertising deals, contributing approximately 367 million euros ($427.37 million). Further significant contributions are derived from weekly competition earnings, which are robustly complemented by ticket sales for the more than 170 matches hosted at their iconic home ground, Parc des Princes. These combined sources brought in around 175 million euros ($203.78 million).

Last season proved to be monumental for PSG, as they made history by clinching the UEFA Champions League title for the first time. In addition to this coveted European trophy, the Paris-based squad also secured victories in Ligue 1, the French Cup, and the Trophee des Champions, narrowly missing out on the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 where they reached the last eight teams. Their success in the European Championships significantly bolstered PSG’s financial income, and the proceeds from their strong showing in the Club World Cup 2025 in the United States are also incorporated into this annual financial statement.

Despite PSG showcasing these record-breaking earnings for the 2024-25 season, the French giants have not publicly disclosed their total annual losses. For context, during the preceding 2023-24 season, PSG reportedly incurred a loss of approximately 60 million euros ($69.87 million).
