The victim, identified as 34-year-old Denis, a local motodup driver, succumbed to his injuries on the evening of May 24 after a clash that erupted while he was watching a match.

The incident occurred amidst widespread celebrations across Uganda, driven by what fans believed to be Arsenal’s first Premier League title in 22 years. This monumental achievement, which the original report described as being secured after three consecutive seasons and a victory over Crystal Palace, had ignited excitement among supporters. Denis, an ardent Arsenal fan, became embroiled in an argument with another man identified as Musiramu, a devoted Manchester United follower. The disagreement quickly turned violent, with Musiramu allegedly beating Denis in the head. The Arsenal supporter collapsed to the ground and died instantly at the scene.

Ugandan authorities have promptly launched a search operation to apprehend the perpetrator, Musiramu. Police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident as they pursue the suspect.
